Thanks to Richard Gennis for these shots taken on September 10, 2009 when the new wheel lathe at Etches Park was officially opened

A 4wd battery loco built in Bulgaria (which can be driven normally or by remote control) is used to drag a train up to 400 tons at 3mph into the wheel lathe.
