The Great Central Railway Diesel Gala was held on May 12 to 14, 2006

The big disappointment this year was the appearance of the locos participating (with the exception of D5185).

The appearance of the Class 33 was a disgrace and reflected no credit at all on either its' owner or the railway itself. I cannot believe that the Great Central Railway would ever allow a steam engine to appear in such a condition
