I apologise for the quality of these shots, I will try and get the horse to go to the other side of the bridge next time so that I am not shooting into the sun When I arrived at Harrowden Junction at 08:45hrs there was a horse trotting down the main line - it was a gypsy horse that had escaped from the field next to the line Initially trains were allowed to creep past but it became more dangerous when the horse started to run alongside 60073 as it approached the junction and the job was stopped with 6C32 across the junction. The local police tried their best to get close to the horse after initial reluctance to actually go over the fence onto railway property Note the horse trotting down the mainline as 6C32 creeps forward The cavalry arrive Network Rail's Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse arrive to sort out the situation but in the end the local police triumphed and services were back to normal by 10:15hrs The local police are the clear leaders in the Harrowden Handicap as the horse is returned to the field
