As part of the Autumn Diesel Gala at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway 47580 was working between Battersby and Whitby.

Here seen at Ruswarp bridge on September 20, 2009

After arrival at Whitby it ran round its' train

then waited in the sidings until it was time to head to Battersby
