Does anybody recognise where this busy (in those days) piece of railway is ? Slide date is September 1967, and I believe it is 7029 "Clun Castle" ?

This is one I really should have known, it is Peterborough, as confirmed by Ian Leech, Dave Smith and Tony Walmsley

Any idea where this ex-Brighton Belle pair of cars is ? No third rail anywhere in sight.

This is believed to be Manningtree.

Thanks for the detailed explanation below received from Terry Bye (Thornaby)

The photograph is of ex CAR Nos.92 & 93. (S292S & S293S). Following withdrawal the cars were finally purchased by Allied Breweries in 1972.

My records identify the cars at one stage being noted at Manningtree, Essex on July 8th 1973. (unsure if the photograph shown is this location).

The cars were then resold to Rick Edmondson of RESCO, Woolwich.

1977 both cars returned to Brighton Station on September 10th for display at the Brighton Station open day.

At some stage both cars then moved to the ex-Pullman Car company workshops at Preston Park. As part of the failed Brighton Museum

Both cars have since been relocated to Stewarts Lane and ownership to the VSO-E. CAR No.93 has since been re-located to Ostend for

evaluation for by the VSO-E to convertion to a possible DVT for use with the UK Pullman train.
