There was a clue within the Question, May 02, 1964 was the date of the F.A. Cup Final between West Ham and Preston. The Midland Pullman was one of many trains that ran to Wembley on that day. Most of the rest were steam hauled. West Ham won 3-2, the first time they had won the F.A.Cup, a feat they repeated in 1980 winning 1-0 against Arsenal. The location was the now long demolished station at Roade, Northamptonshire on the West Coast mainline Correctly identified by Bill Nicholson, Nick Roberts, Sean Povey, Ian Leech, Andrew Fulcher, Stephen Goulden and this weeks winner Steve Dyks
