The Rushden Historical Transport Society held its annual charity fund raising "Rushden at War" weekend on October 28 and 29, 2006

The locomotives had both been painted recently and looked good

The Sentinel (ex Castle Cement Ltd, Pitstone Quarry No.2) was named during the event after a previous Chairman of the Society

It is seen here being prepared for the naming ceremony

His widow names the locomotive "Les Forster"

The newly named loco hauls a mixed freight
