It would appear that a start has been made in the rehabilitation of the sidings on the west side of the line between Mill Road and Finedon Road bridges, Wellingborough, for the GBRf "Metronet" depot and virtual quarry. "Metronet" is the contract to renew all the London Underground over-ground system which is due to commence mid 2006 and run for 10 years.
